Pintail progress...

Very nice! The high-neck pintails remind me of the "Kankakee Marsh Pintails" that were featured in the July-August 2009 issue of Hunting and Fishing Collectibles Magazine. Looking forward to seeing them in paint.

John - After I looked at these, I thought the same thing. The funny thing is I drew this pattern about a year before those decoys were discovered. As a kid, I used to tube in the Kankakee River. My grandpa had a cabin there. Fond memories of the great outdoors...
