The La Paz is a good looking boat and I like the engine requirement a lot more than the CCSF25.5. The latter does look like a much more complex build.
 
What about making another Honker, with different deck and interior? Stretched to 24 feet. Mine is 19' 3" with a 92" beam. Of course continue the sides to make a V in the bow, rather than the flat Garvey bow. Maybe a dive platform on the back.....

A stretched Honker is basically the Devlin - Lingcod 24 Same basic hull... go for it.

If I ever get back to living near the great lakes I'm building the honker. In the meantime I'm enjoying the mountains.
