Tom's wife Deb just posted this. Figured I would make a new post instead of adding to Tom's below

"I have not put an entry in for a while. We had fairly smooth sailing for a few months. Tom?s multiple myeloma cells have again started to increase in his body. He had a stem cell transplant last fall that is not hold his bad cells in check. The Drs. want him to restart chemotherapy with two new medications on August 6th, 2018. He had a PET scan today that looks for any hotspots in his bones. We have no results yet. Tomorrow(Friday) he goes in to have a port placed in his left shoulder for the chemo. infusions. For now he will going in two times a week for 8 weeks, then every other week for four months and then once a week for four months. We are so thankful for all the support we have received. We ask again that you remember Tom in your prayers as he starts this next journey. He has been staying very positive, but this news was difficult to hear. Love to all of you. Thanks again for keeping him in you prayers. Deb."

Thanks Mark. Had talked to Tom through email recently. Had high hopes for the stem cell therapy. I was sorry to hear it wasn't successful. Thoughts, prayers, good vibes, mojo.....what ever floats your boat goes out to Tom and Deb.

Thanks for posting the update Mark.

Tom keep this is a blow but hopefully just another bump in the road. Thinking of you and your family

A positive note from my Dad this week his treatment is finally working and he gets a one week break before they start back up with a reduced daily chemo.

Andrew, Good news on your dad for sure. We all need to take advantage of every day cause we won't get another chance. Hope it keeps going good for him. Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers from all of you.
