My sweetheart Abby Girl. 6yr old female English Setter. Much like in Tod Tenyson's post about his old fella, Abby was a "second chance" dog. Someone had given up on her and figured they didn't have the time or the money to put into training her. I found her through some friends at a dog training club I have belonged to for a number of years. She is what I consider to be a once in a lifetime dog. She does everything I ask and is so faithful and loving. She cannot wait to go hunting. It doesn't matter if it is Grouse, Pheasant, Quail or ducks. She is absolutely bird crazy, but does it all to please. She is not selfish and does not hunt for herself. I dread the inevitable day when I will no longer be able to hunt over her.
My 12y.o. son and faithful hunting companion, Tyler.
Tyler and the girls. Abby Girl and our new Chesapeake Emma. Emma turned 1y.o. in the marsh this year. It was a good first year out for the pup. She learned a lot and we learned that she really likes to fetch ducks on the water.
