But after all, you have a hunting dog here, and after lots of dummies and learning to sniff around, it's time to pick up some birds

After a while, the dog is ready for some late season snow geese, which are a lot bigger than the teal and black ducks she is used to

And by the time your dog is in her third season, she is pretty accomplished and handles her chores with all of the enthusiasm that she has always had, but also with confidence that experience brings.

your lab has the same face whitening that my yellow female has, I see alot in your dog that I see in mine.
We moved from South Jersey last spring had 5 litters out of our yellow Abby while there. Was woundering if theres some family ties between them.

Sorry the way it looked I thought it was your dog, So Dan the ??? is for you ,are you from Jersey .
Bill Yes , You have no idea how happy I am to get out of Jersey. I hunted a whole season out here and never ran into another hunter.

Doug,I know the feeling! I hunt Kalispell almost every year since 1990 and I certainly LOVE Montana.It's just too far to run to catch tuna fish! LOL

I don't see many hound dog photos except for Troy and CraigS. But there are a fine looking bunch of hard working retrievers.
