Ky was admitted to the hospital on Monday. The Drs told him his heart is working at 10% only. Any prayers are deeply appreciated.
He is anxious to get better and attend the ODCCA show where he takes care of the auction every year.
If you would like to send him a note:

Thank you
Ken

That's tough news for the Big Guy.
I was wondering about him, as I haven't seen or heard from him in a while.
Hope they get him fixed up soon. I can't imagine the ODCCA Show without him!
Thanks Ken.

I have enjoyed Ky's company on a few occasions and slept in his trailer at Long Point Bay on a few others. Quite a character. I wish him the very best.

New to forum so I don't know Ky. Will certainly put him on my prayer list. God bless you Ky and your family. God will never give you more than you can handle through His love and grace.

One thing about Ky, he sure can ID decoys. I helped him with the auction at the ODCCA shows for years and am amazed how he can accurately tell people about the decoys they have.
One year a guy brought bits and pieces of decoys?? Ky said " there's a dumpster behind the hotel and that's were those should go". had to be there I guess, but it was funny.

Thanks to all for your prayers. They have been able to remove some of the fluids his body was retaining but he still has a way to go

He's in our thoughts. We have never been in Ky's company when there wasn't smiles all around. Can't imagine the show without him.

10% of his heart working... Wow!

May the Lord bless Ky with courage, strength and peace. May the medical team be given inspiration in his care.

Thy will be done O Lord.

Thanks Ken for putting this up. Ky is a good friend. I hope he takes care of himself. Prayers for my bud Ky. Hitch

I suspect he was referring to Ky's ejection fraction(percentage of total blood volume that is discharged from the left ventricle on contraction). Any value less than 30% is considered frank heart failure. Normal ejection fraction range is roughly 50 to 60% at rest.
