Jacob. I have never hunted in Southern Ill. but passing by Rend lake that seemed to be a ducky area. At sixty five miles an hour I still saw some ducks. I agree all seasons are pretty good.

I think that is one of those Millards or something.... I thought they were a urban legend. From what I've been told the ones with the green on 'em are the boy ducks. The Brown ones make some Kwaaack type sound kinda like a cross between a crow and a squirrel.

I live in Belleville. The first picture is at Bush's hunt club at Crab orchard. Next to Tim Grounds club. That kid shot his first duck that day. The guy in the picture with him told me to back him up and the kid dropped it like a rock at 25yds. Rend is a pretty good area too. I personally like to stay in the heated pits on our private spots though... LOL I have a place I got to at Ballwin Power Plant too, but it is getting real hard to get on geese down there. Where are you at near Alton? You have a blind on the big rivers? I am looking to go a little north next year.

Yeah, let's get together sometime and hunt north of alton. I am looking for experience with other waterfowlers who know what they're doing, as I've only killed one duck in several times of hunting. I go to college in Elsah, about 10 mins north of Alton. I live in Missouri, but I am planning to buy a non-res license in Illinois next year because I've found some good spots up north. (About 30 mins north of Alton) The geese were all over the place several weeks ago- snows, specs, and lots of canadas. Let's keep in touch-

Are the snows still there? If so, I can get a real good set up, up there. One of my buddies has like 3000 snow/blue decs and 3 callers.

I am going thursday. Closing day. I was going to go tomorrow, but I have to work. Then I am going to hit Ballwin a few times chasing them snows and stuff.

Thanks man. I am actually having the second spec from the end and the blue next to it mounted.

Those things with the green heads on them are actually part ghost I think.
