Found yet another brand of boats from up north to consider when I buy next year, Prince Craft.
Their Yukon DLX is the type I am looking at:

Anyone have any experience with them? Look like a nice boat, loaded with features and there is a dealer within reasonable driving distance.
The more I look, the more boats I find. How in the world am I going to make a decisions??????

Seems lots of Canucks like um. My buddy Josh always says,"PrinceCraft...selected by experts" everytime we see one...like a commercial in a distinctly Canadian accent.

If you get one I'd do that a lot...just adds to the good times.

Scott,

That boat's paint job reminds me of an old WWII german tank. Those were simple, yet effective, paint jobs for the terrain of Europe. It looks good on a boat to:)

Carl,

I purchased a 16ft new in 1997 the beam is nice and wide. It was built well, no problems there. The only thing that I did not like was the design of the bow of the boat. If you look at one you will notice that the angle from the top of the bow to the keel is very drastic. This causes the water to break near the center of the boat which makes for a rough ride. Also when your idling in forward into choppy water the bow seems to nose dive. If you compare the bow of the Prince Craft say to a Lund you will understand what I mean. The 19ft Prince Craft in the picture looks like the bow is different then the 16ft. This is just my opnion.

Jay, That is very funny. I like your sense of humor. I live across the St. Clair River from Canada, eh. We bugger on down the road for a rye and coke with the McKenzie brothers. Life is Good,eh.

Cheers, Tom

Tom, I spend quite a bit of time over there. My buddy Chris lives in St Clair and has a place on Harsen's. My mom and step dad have a big place 3 doors down from the boat ramp just south of Marine City...just across from the island.

Jay, what a small world. PM me and let me know when your comming to St Clair. Maybe if you have time we can have lunch.

Cheers Tom
