Project Sneakbox

One of these projects that are a labor of love. I learned my lesson on "buying" project boats. People think they have an asset to sell, but in reality they have a mess that will cost more than anyone will pay for it finished. Not to say we should not take on these projects, we most certainly should, but these should be given to someone who will bring it back to life/work.

You are correct Dave. I have one of those projects now that I probably should have passed on. Oh well, one day it will be a nice boat and I will know what I have. It is sad to see these old historical wood boats being let go to waste away.

Will~

One never knows until close inspection is possible....rot and cracked frames can mean lots of work. Wish there were a photo of the bottom or at least the hull sections.

In any event, this vessel should command no more $100 in my opinion - even if everything is sound and the "missing pieces" are included.

All the best,

SJS
