PYMATUNING WATERFOWL EXPO

We are headed that way, can't wait to see everyone. Gotta stop at Eddies first, prior to set up, hope they are still open...... Hank's is already closed.

Only today left for the show guys...It was good seeing some old faces and chatting yesterday...Tim Schloss, Tim Bromley, Chris Toy as well as some I hadn't met before...Dave Brunger (Good luck with that test, have fun with it). I'll be there again til 1 or 2 today. Stop by the North Bay booth and say Hi.

Vince...I didn't see you yesterday, stop by if you make it there again today. And Mr. Schloss...I'll let you post up your handiwork on here. I believe you said you took some pictures before I picked that up.

Steve

Its been a good show so far. Congrats to Mike Frechette for winning the decoy carving BOS! We hope next year to get a few more duckboats members.

I waited too long to make up my mind and couldn't get a bird there. I had to work Saturday. Next year I'll make arrangements in advance to enter a bird. My wife and I spent a little time there today. It looked like it was going preset good.

Congratulations on an awesome looking Scoter Mike. I wish I would have made my way over to check out the decoys yesterday, unfortunately I didn't venture over that way until today and they were gone. Nice bird either way.

Vince, it was good talking with and meeting you today. That's some fine work you do with the painting and decoys as well. I'll keep you posted on the grouse situation.

Glad to see ya make it down Darin...sorry about that brant season, you are correct on the dates. We'll have to go see if we can find some wigeon to shoot over the traveling decoy instead.

Steve

Steve - It was good talking to you also, and to meet you face to face. Sorry I didn't get over to check out your calls (never can have enough good calls...) Once I get there, and start to carve, I get
locked into what I'm doin', and zone out. It's a habit I can't seem to break. Please keep in touch, and Grouse updates will be much appreciated. Have safe, and very enjoyable fall.

The Pymatuning Waterfowl Expo is a very good show, with a rich history of folks from PA and Ohio, and many other states, deeply rooted in waterfowl hunting, and DU. Some of the greatest
folks in decoys (old & new), calls, art, boats, hunting supplies etc. have been at the show. Hopefully that tradition shall continue, and even become greater.

It was good to see old friends, and make new acquaintances. God willing, we shall see you again next year. Thanks to one and all, who do the hard work behind the scenes. Good J-O-B!

And least I forget, the man who started this thread - Tim Schloss, and his incredible Waterfowl Taxidermy, that always draws many admirers..........
