You don't have to answer if you don't want to. I wasn't looking to force an answer out of anyone. I just was curious because I don't ever recall jump shooting being the red headed step child of hunting tactics.
I think it's pretty clear some hunts are more perfect than others. Some hunts have more characteristics that up the prestige (Scott Farris's three bands over his own decoys pegs that chart). I believe that to be true.
I'm going to cut this short now. I'm getting up in less than 4 hours to try and find a duck. Our season has slowed to the point even hard core 30+ year waterfowling optimists are having doubts. Hopefully the new year will ring in some new ducks and bring a smile on the long faces who go because it's what we do.
