Question re beaver tail blind

Have been looking at the Beavertail blind for an 18 foot boat. Can't imagine how you can see out of the boat unless you pop your head out like a wack-a-mole game. If it is 360 degree nylon material how do you see out. Will probably have to buy one before I see one....no retailers in NC.
If anyone has one near New Bern NC I'd love to take a look at it.

typicaly with that type blind you adjust seating so just looking out at eyelevel . Wear a facemask and cover shooting holes so no blackhole for puddlers to look down into on the swing. And hope you dont wear glasses and the sun glints off them or you tend to flair birds. A little grass or brush in grassing loops bent over hole to pear thru is a plus. divers it probably doesnt make a hoot,

When we use boat blinds we use phragmites or bamboo cane stuck in the bottom around the boat to further break up the outline and provide some top concealment. Addresses the issues you raise. A wide brim hat helps with the glare from glasses!

I bought one this year off Kevin Caro from Michigan and he had it drop shipped directly to me I love it. Works perfect for my needs on an 18ft starcraft deep V.

kevins on Facebook if you do that if Not I can probably round up some contact info if you would like.

I know that manufactured blinds sure are nice and easy to use, but damn, the model for an 18' boat is over $700.00.
Some conduit and hardware from HD, an order of camo netting from Barre Army Navy and a weekends worth of work you can have something that works just as well for about $200.
Here' my homemade blinds, takes all of 30 seconds to put it up.

With phragmites stuck in the bottom around it. This is how we hunt boat blinds on open water for divers & gadwalls.

A friend of mine has one, its a nice set up. Just put some grass so it sticks up a little to cover your head when you pop up
