Charlie, how do you imagine hunting it? As a traditional sneakbox, it will be harder to hide, it is significantly larger. Pulling it off the mud will be impossible. The centerboard case is large, nearly 3ft long and typically is in the cockpit. I suppose you might hunt 2 guys side by side, rear facing as is traditional? If you removed the centerboard trunk, and discarded the sail rig, what have you gained? A low garvey would work better? I have toyed with the same thoughts, bid on a couple when I saw them, but would likely restore it as a summer sailer.... though I have been thinking about a melonseed build in the future, and I suppose they would hunt similar....though I would build the melonseed with a daggerboard, and that would be placed much further forward than a sailing sneakbox centerboard case.
What were you thinking in how you would use it? Curious.....
