Ready for "The Flip" with pics

I agree with Andrew, my dog lives on the foredeck of our Snow Goose. We cut out a piece of mud colored indoor-outdoor carpet for him to sit or lay on while we are hunting. We left the deck reletively flat on our Snow Goose and I'm going to do the same on my Cackler. Just enough arch to drain water. Don't ask me how my buddy found "mud" colored carpet.

Thanks Tod, Great looking product,Looks like it would be great for protecting the floor and storage area of the BBIII

Ace hardware used to sell a product that I used, but they discontinued it. Home depot carries something that looks the same in teh carpet section, but us not quite as good as the Ace product (the molds are the same, but the rubber/plastic is not as nice). Dri-dek is more expensive but nicer.

Anyway, I like it instead of a non-slip floor or solid rug/mat for a number of reasons. Gravel/sand/snails from your boots fall through it and don't get crushed into the floor. Ice on it powders and falls through it and can't build up like it can on a non-slip floor. It is great for dogs, they never slip and can't scratch it. Finally, it pulls out and can be hosed off and air can circulate to dry under it. Downsides are that is is tough on bare feet (dri-dek isn't) and sometimes fish hooks get caught in it, but that isn't a problem if you know it is a problem and act accordingly.
