Real Grass, Fast Grass, and Tanglefree

I need to buy some mats, and have some hand me down original Fast Grass that has been in use for some 12 or so years. I am happy with what I have and prefer the thinner "leaves" to some of the wider stuff I have seen.
Shopping on-line, I find Knutson's lists Fast Grass for $16.99 a panel, but the shipping is killer... 4 panels ship for $26.00


At Wing Supply they have both the Avery Real Grass, and Tanglefree both for less than $14.00 a sheet, and shipping is only $4.99, and I have a 10% code for Wing Supply too.


Then there is the eBay stuff, but I don't know if that works out cheaper, have not done the math.... in any case, does anyone have experience with the Real Grass or the Tanglefree?

Original Fastgrass is great stuff still have some from years ago. bought some of the Avery Grass this year and I can tell you 1st hand it sucks!!!! The extra in shpping for the Original may pay dividends down the road by lasting alot longer

Dave just buy the fast grass have used the others and one year or less out of it. Fast grass I have had on my 15ft 5years now still looks good tried the others on my 13 ft and they broke down to fast. Just ordered a bundle from knutsons it is the best. rich
 
I agree with Rich that origional fast grass last much longer than the others. The synthetic versions to me do not look real and some of them can cause real problems when they fall off and get wrapped in the prop.
 
try tiki shack importers web site. same weave as original fasgrass and longer lenght to panels and either 48" or 52" height available.
 
Fast Grass is the best I have used. I have a couple other brands and they are not nearly as good looking or as durable.

I know shipping from Knutsons can be expensive. Maybe give L.L. Bean a call and see when they might have Fast Grass in stock and if they are going to offer free shipping again.
