Just noticed that there is a new heading in the Resource and Reference section of the Main Index..... Thank you Eric and Chuck. I will create some threads (just the titles, I am not much of a cook) to use.

My thoughts are:

Smoking recipes
Sausage recipes
Diver recipes
Puddler recipes
Mergs and Seaduck recipes
Goose recipes
Turkey recipes
Other Fowl recipes
Venison recipes
Wild Pig recipes
Other Game recipes
Side dishes
Vegetables
Desserts

Any others we should create as initial threads.... by establishing speerate threads, searching will be easier?

I posted a nice recipe that I had tried several times last season.

Not sure...because there will likely be commentary following a recipe, so will some get lost in the banter? I was contemplating how to go about it in the most organized fashion, then got CRAZY busy and really had been letting it slide under the radar till you pointed it out. Thinking about it last night, I was thinking more of a format for the title...something like "type"/"class" of recipe, your name of the recipe, and if the recipe is not original to you, give credit in the title. So STeve's recipe would be something like this:

Main course-Chicken Fried Duck Breast-Steve McCullough

Also, if the recipe is something you found on the internet, please post a link to where you found it following the text of the recipe. The DHBP has always been big on intelectual property, and I think the recipe section should be no exception to giving credit where credit is due.

Also, given our overall open subject matter of the page, I think the recipe section should follow suit and not limit itself to fowl or even game dishes...now where did I leave that Mead recipe?
