Refurb or burn....

Rocker doesn't seem to be an issue. I did run it for a bit, until the throttle cable clamp slipped, so I didn't REALLY run it through the places. It did seem to push it fast enough, but I forgot my handheld GPS so... I don't know. This would work for my uses, but the cockpit opening is so narrow. 27" or so.. Just not my choice of a vessel.

Yep.. they took the Kawasaki off a mudbuddy, and put a 35 on that frame, and the 29hp on a Backwater frame.
 
I gave one of my homemade wooden mud boats a Viking funeral last year. I hated the way it ran and I got thrown out of it once when it slid out of control on deep water. We filled it full of sticks and limbs, poured old gasoline on it and I threw a flare into it.............that sucker was still floating at dawn like that 1954 Plymouth Fury in the Stephen King movie "Christine".
