A commonality between the comments in the thread....."I shoot brand XXX as it is cheap..." and another one "It works and kills birds".. That is a bit of a paraphrase, but the take home, if a cheap shell works - kills birds use them, and forget the pricey stuff....

I will second that motion...ooops notion.

I tried it this year as well. It patterned very well out of my IC choke, and i found myself with less cripple to finish off. The shot went right through the birds and we found almost no shot in the meat when we ate. I didn't notice it being louder but it does kick. I didnt think that the recoil was something too outrageous though. For the price i think it cost me just as much to shoot the cheaper stuff and clean up cripples. I'll keep shooting it.

(I did cut one open and found the shot and powder to be very consistent.)
