Carving season is getting close. Jeff, Doc, and I have been getting the shop operational. Snow is blowing, and I had the neighborhood smelling like a woodstove last night.

What exactly does that mean...you moved all that junk you had sprawled out on the porch back inside? Really though, your late, I already have 2 birds on the paint bench for '09! Are we on for December 4th? Or do you want to wait for duck hunting season to officially end before we start the carving season? Best Chuck

that's great news. Sadly, it will have to be January before I can get free enough to make it down for carving, but I'm looking forward to it all the same.
Is the Saturday of T-giving wk/end hunt still on? (I hope!)

The wife can hardly wait, BAWAHAHAHAHAHA! I'm looking forward to carving and sharing a few High Lifes with the guys. May be I'll finish that GE that I started last winter;)
 
How are the lakes looking down there? All the water up here turned hard last night.
My local lake was covered in ducks and geese yesterday and I decided to go deer hunting instead. Drove to the ramp this morning and the whole lake was frozen, DOH! Didn't get a deer either!
