Rocking head decoys

I kind of got ahead of myself on taking step by step pictures of the process.You can pretty much tell what steps ive taken by looking at it.Here is the first photo showing where the rocker will be inserted.

That's fantastic Roy!!! I think that is about as cool (sorry-for lack of a better word) a goldeneye decoy as I have seen!! Thanks for showing that to us. What wood did you use for the rocker and the "rocker-tenin" block??

Please keep the images coming as the bird progress'.

Thanks for the kind words Keith.I used some cherry for the rocker...and used cedar for the rocker tenin.I just used what was on hand. I promise I will use some oak next time :).
