rod holders

I recently purchased a 2072 seaark Jon boat.any suggestions for rod holders? The cap rail is 3 1/4" wide.bass pro shops is only place I found clamp on rod holders that wide.are they decent?I'd like to not have to drill any holes in rail ,but if I do thinking driftmaster with triangle base? Thanks.

Don't know whether they will work for your boat but the best rod holders I have ever used are made by Down-East http://www.down-east.com/website_003.htm. I've had 6 of them for almost 20 years without an issue. I use them for all types of freshwater fishing including salmon and walleye trolling on the Great Lakes.
