very very sorry for your loss of such a great companion and buddy, please post all the photos you want would love to see them. Its good therapy in this time to look at all thoes photos of the younger dog the puppy and the old companion again it does help. We lost murphy to the same thing as your pup its rough and sucks ass bigtime is the most blunt way you can put it. Dogs dont stay with us long enough and loosing one sure makes you remember that its burned into my heart something fierce and I tye my best to treasure every moment with Gordy that I can. Ehnce the 2000+ photos of him in 14 months on this planet.......... pathetic some say but hes my boy.

Take care and keep you head up, Sneed had a great life with an person that loved her much.

Dave, Denise and Gordy

The stories of Sneed and the pic with that P cap always made me smile. It is amazing the friends these dogs make even though they never meet those friends. My thoughts are with you Howard.

Sorry Howard, it's never easy when we lose a dog (friend). We get so close with them and them with us. It seems like they should age like we do, but it never happens. A lot of us on this site have gone through what you are going through. It's a tough time for awhile and there's no quick remedy for the loss. Sometimes a new pup will help after awhile.

Take care buddy.

Dave

Sorry Howard.Having gone through the same thing with a couple dogs plus horses, goats, and cats,I know what your family is going through.
God sure has a marsh full of great dogs.

Sorry to hear of your loss Howard. Having lost a few great hunting pals myself, I know what you are going thru . I wish I had the words to help lessen your pain ............ but I know none exist. Heres hoping that the pain will lessen soon to be replaced by fond memories of a great companion.

Until then , Sneed will be running with all the other great dogs who have gone before him. They'll show him the best sweet grass fields to roll in, the best places to swim and chase birds, where to lay in the sun . He'll romp and play without pain and shortness of breath until the day he meets you at the rainbow bridge. Until then , go on now Sneed, "hunt em' up "
