He should be in his new home within the next week or two. He has a long ride here from Wisconsin that is still being arranged.

I lost way to many ducks this past season due to the lack of a good duck dog. My wife didn't mind another dog in the house (she didn't want a male though) So I finally found a pup with a respectable background, he should fit the bill nicely. And I somehow convinced my wife to allow another male to enter her life.

Now I just have come up with a name for him.

Steve, beautiful pup. Too bad he won't ready for the eastern shore this year !!! ( a little too young yet) Good luck.

Hi Steve,

Great looking pup. I live in northeast Wisconsin-I'd be interested in the kennel the pup came from. I'm not in the market at this time, (my chocolate lab is 4) but I'm always getting questions about where to find good duck dogs. Just curious. If you need help with the transport give a holler-I'm retired and have some time. Jim

Let the fun begin. I love a new puppy. I didn't think you were getting one for a couple of months. I just put a deposit on a pup. She won't be ready until the end of April, provide there are enough. I'm 4th on the list. Give me a call if you you want to train together. He is deffinately cute.

Thanks Ryan...I'm sure you'll be seeing more of him in the future.

Bob...I give you partial blame for our family getting a new dog...everytime I see that sig line of yours it gets me thinking - Duck hunting without a dog is just shooting. Thanks (in a good way)

Tom, I would love to be able to bring him down...hopefully next year he'll be ready to roll. By the way, I have a few calls almost finished up that I'll bring down with me for you to choose from. Can't wait to hook the boat onto the truck and roll down the road.

Doug...He'll be accompanying me on some traplines next fall too. Maybe he'll take a liking to grouse too, who knows?

Jim, The breeder is taking care of the travel plans, I'm just waiting to find out when he'll be here. I appreciate the offer for assistance though, I'll keep that in mind if needed. My sister also lives in Wisconsin too (Appleton). I'll PM you more info on the kennel in a little bit.

Thanks John...how did the rest of the season go up there? Did I miss anything?

Tod...I concur, That's one of the biggest reasons why I like the fox red labs - You don't even have to grass them up.

Thanks Troy...luck and lots of hard work forthcoming.

Darin, You get partial blame as well. After hunting with you and your dog Luke it gave me a new appreciation for hunting with dogs. It was supposed to be a couple months for my pup from another kennel...long story short - I'm losing my deposit on that one - lesson learned. I'll tell ya about that over the phone. I'll be in touch with you real soon. I still need to get these calls out to you anyway.

Thank you Victor

Steve
