Schellenger

Keep your eyes on craigslist, they do come up often but sell very quickly. There's a 12' Roy low boat in south jersey for sale right now.

To the best of my knowledge he winters south but does build a few boats each year.

Question:Why good luck?

Because they sell quick. They are prized by the Jersey Boys.... they hide real well, and hold up well.

Good morning Dave, feeling frisky are we?. BTW that was a "fast" response.

I just did not understand your response to someone wishing another "good luck". Why would you Not wish someone good luck? Are you reading too much into the "good luck"?

Okay.Hey John,O Why good luck?
Good luck because they are hard to get or good luck because ?????.

I for one would like to have a Roy Boat but i have 3 boats that can be used for waterfowl hunting. If the hunting in my area was better i am sure i would own a 12" high boat.

So there Dave.xxxxxxx's

Thanks for the responses. I spoke to him this morning and he is in fla. I will be talking to him when he gets back in about a month.

You will like the boat, and he is a character. I used to see him once in a while at a ramp I use. He was always critical of my boat at the time, an AA Wigeon. I took it as a fun thing. I knew who he was)as far as making boats), but he didn't know that I knew. He also used to tell me to put the plug in from the outside because it didn't make a difference. When you meet him to pick up your boat, reach inside like you are putting the plug in if you remember and see what he says. You will laugh your butt off.

Good luck because its tough to find one used and if you do a fair priced high box. I have been fortunate to find a few through the years for myself and friends at good deals. I'll never sell mine come hell or high water. Another one of the best boats ive gunned and owned. Also have 2 meadow muffins which is a badass little rig.

This looks to be what you're looking for

Hi Kris-it's really better in person because I can't imitate the gruff voice and know-it-all attitude in a sentence, which again, is funny and not insulting. But he will go into why it doesn't make a difference and then you don't have to reach in and blah blah blah. He also always has a hitch on the front of his truck so he can drive his boat in instead of backing it up. Also always yelling at his dogs, who clearly could care less because nothing is going to happen to them. Like I said, you have to enjoy this guy if you meet him. Because he is very funny.

And he will interview you like you are being charged with murder. He is trying to get a feel for what kind of person you are. If he doesn't like you the higher the price gets until you are saying forget it. If he likes you he gives you a price and then discounts are built in like taking your old father hunting discount, taking your kids hunting discount. He is funny but I don't believe it is intentional its just Roy. Once you meet him you wont forget him either you love him or hate him but that's based on your attitude and actions.
