Scientists Rebut White House Global Warming Claims

Hi Pete,
I can't believe that anybody with a logical mind and access to facts, could ever fall victim to the fallacy of global warming. Carbon Dioxide as a cause...........hm, without it, the plants die. The major "green house gas" is actually water vapor......not fossil fuel........etc.
Lou

I'm sure we'll see that published in a peer reviewed journal soon . . . . .

I've only taken a quick look at Pete's links, and I am not a PH D scientist, but I did study science in college.

Initial reaction: Am I really supposed to accept that Dr. Theodore Eck, an economist who was formerly the chief economist for two different oil companies, is (1) qualified to comment on climate science; and (b) has no bias based on his career in the oil industry?

Meanwhile, here's a Weather.com story on how last May, worldwide, was the warmest May on record, based on a report from the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

I'm going with the government scientists on this one, not the economist for Amoco and Exxon who says "Global warming has not been global".

weather.com, the new reality show that used to actually give local and regional weither--Ler's see, run by NBC. Hmm.

So, I guess a "quick look" sifted out the posers in this bunch! It's obvious that the rest of this bunch are only qualified to be a barista at your local coffee shop.....

No, I didn't study every word of that report but I do know this administration will not be confused by the facts if they don't "feel good". Climate does change, so what? Dress for it.

Well once in a while I will come up with something that makes sense. But really does sum it up so now get on with something we can change. This afternoon I spent longer than I can imagine sitting on Highway 100 with the engine shut off so mr. obama could tie up traffic DURING RUSH HOUR. How inconsiderate can one person be and all those cars sitting in one place idling doesn't do much for the air quality does it? My wife heard on the radio that some people actually flipped him off as his motorcade passed. heeeheeeheee. Imagine that
