Ray, keep researching, it's a floating blind that's transported to a site by boat, floated & anchored, allowing the boat to pull out and enter repeatedly to make retrieves. Apparently these are traditional & popular on the NC coast.
Ben, The juniper recommendation is based on the light weight and probably the inherent rot resistance. If you build one take loads of and share them! Thanks for the opportunity to learn about another method of hunting.
