Hey Jack,

Thats some early birds showing up.

I was talking with Jim Heise from Overtemp, he was over at my place working on a pair of CAT 3196's. His system worked with good results. He told me he was not as lucky with your boat.
How did you make out? Did you see any differance?

Hi John I know Jimmy from the 1st day he came to Montauk' He was my Mate on Sam Gersowittz's 63' Oceans that I used to run. His system looked promising but it didnt do anything for my 8v92. When I show down the end of Oct I guess I'm on my way to RI Engine

Capt. Jack, I was down a week ago fluke fishing on shinnecock bay with Chris G, there were half a dozen eiders swimming in the bay. Still in summer plumage. Nice to see them since I've never seen one before. Nice striper the photo.

Well good luck with the engine job.
I got to talking with Jim about some German U-boats I had been diving and one thing lead to another and your name came up when we started talking waterfowl. Small world...

I saw 5 big flocks of cormorants heading south this weekend in Northern jersey.

I was surprised that they were moving already.

good news about the scotors

Oh, forgot to mention this: A couple of years back we had a group of 3 immature male scoters that spent the whole summer on MS Sound down here.
I never got to see them but our ornithologist saw them at least twice.
