Scull boat

I am about to aquire an old scull boat that needs some work. I was hoping to see some pictures of some other rigs that are out there. Any tips for restoring would be appreciated! I’d love to hear some tips on sculling as well. I’ve never sculled but I’ve always wanted to. My grandfather was a huge sculler on the Delaware years ago.

Sounds like alot of fun! I'm willing to bet there are some knowledgeable members who live close to you who would offer their opinion on the amount of work necessary to restore the boat you are interested in. Personally I would rather build new using modern stitch and glue construction. Check out Devlin's scull boat plans and assess for yourself which would suit your needs or wants better.
