My Father and myself hunted the coast of Maine a few years ago with a guide http://www.thornehead.com/index.html
Arnie Clay, He is from Bath Area, My dad and myself have hunted in Arkansas, Canada, Maryland, CT , NJ and PA and have never had a better experience than with this gentleman. Not only for the simple fact of shooting "at" lots of birds, But the safety and time that he put forth for our hunt.

It is a tuff hunt for a person who has never done it before,
We hunted over Thanksgiving week, Cold!! And the tides, They are unbelievable!!
You may want to give him a call and talk to him about hunting and safety of hunting ...
I am sure he will help you out as much as he can.

You Need a Big Rig (I would not go smaller than 21' Foot Deep "V" with a good motor. And a even better radio!!!
Give Arnie a Call he may help..

the person who started it, RYAN, did so in Feb. of 2007 and that he has not logged on since March of 07.....

Not looking to kill a good thread on SeaDucking in Maine just pointing out this is an old post brought to the top and if anyone is responding to "help" Ryan that isn't going to happen.

Carry on....

of my 40+ years of duck hunting up there, many of them with "friends" from this site...

Like I said I didn't want to put the skids to a good SeaDucking thread but did want to point out that the question that was being answered was over 18 months old and was posted by a person who never even stuck around to see the answers on his original question....
