Bender is a good man. Working on Turkeys now Hitch, may bring one to Westlake. See you in Duane and Tommys room for a beer or two.

Here is a pair of gadwalls. These were my first Sean Sutton decoys. If I was a better photog, you would get a better sense of the subtleness of the paint scheme of this pair. I have had them about 5 years, they were probably at least that old when I got them. They really rounded out my rig at the time(before the birth of the spoonies, which have rounded it out to another dimension). These too have been dinged up a little bit, but again, I believe the maker would find comfort in that. One other note, the pictures of the decoys were taken three days apart and as you might have noticed, the dog has not moved far in that time.

sutton's decoys are some of my favorites and i go to his page about twice a week to see if he's updated it.........but, i gotta say, i think i've found a new favorite of his - those GADWALL are freaking bad to the bone.

great birds, justin

View attachment 003 - Copy.jpgSean-we like having you and Jimmy as much as you like coming. We are fortunate to have a good group that finds a way to get along, and to be able to have that place. Most of the people that see it want to move right in, and I can't say I blame them.
