Shoveler frond

This guy is getting close. I decided to leave the back end wide and have the wing tips spread a bit.

Thanks.

I have two more fronds to do right now. When I have them done, I plan to seal them and paint them all at once. I am also waiting for a bit warmer weather too. I haven't decided on two more shovelers or two pintails or a mix. I will let the frond size decide.

Its all about Building that Bond.

Thanks for the encouragement. I am trying to make basic decoys, then begin to add detail as my skill increases. Right now I am happy that look like ducks.

Here are all three together. I still want to do something with the shoveler tail, but I don't know what yet. It will come to me. I bit more sanding here and there and they will be ready to seal and paint. I should have a rig by fall to hunt over. It won't be huge, but it will be a rig.
