I'm interested in attending some shows in the east that have a good following from hunters (hunting decoys, boats, calls etc.) I would like to know where, time of year and most of all opinions. Jersey? Ohio? PA? Where ever! I'm coming from northern New England so a good place to stay and eat would be great too. Thanks in advance for for any input.

I would say.......get thee self to the Westlake Ohio Show that is coming up in three weeks. Be there or be square....tons of fun.

Plenty of time...........oh, better get on the ball. Last year all 610 rooms were sold out. Chop/chop.

There are also several other hotels within walking distance of the Holiday Inn that the show takes place in. There is a Residence Inn by Marriot that is next door and is a much nicer hotel for less money, and a Red Roof Inn about 500 yards away on the same street, about the same quality and half the price. And there is a Hampton Inn across the Highway probably about 800 yards that is around the same price. Many restaurants across the highway in addition to some regular shopping. Do a search using the Crocket and Basset Road exit in the town of Westlake off of Interstate 90 for your hotels.
If you do attend please stop by room 158 and give and say Hi.
