I just can't stop. There are birds everywhere, and I can't not take pictures of them. I'm sorry.

Eddie.
Its all about Building that Bond.

Very nice pics Brian...I gotta ask. I'm not that familiar with eiders, but I do intend to target them someday. In the third pic down of the two drakes...do the black tipped (I can't tell if they are primaries or tertials) feathers indicate an immature bird? Or is it just the opposite?

Steve

Actually Brian, I'm glad to see them. All of these great photos get turned into reference pics for carved birds, so I am glad
to see so many "thorn" down. Much easier to carve gunning birds this way.

Thanks

Thanks guys.

Steve, your correct just a little bit younger bird. Younger birds will have a little more black on them. I believe it takes an eider 3 years to fully mature.

You guys are killing me!
Cant wait until my boy is big enough to handle a trip for sea ducks.
Its going to be No. 1 on my priority list for trips for us to take!
