Slowest Duck Season Ever, But Beautiful Scenery

This season has been a strange one here on the Eastern Shore. Goose shortened and bag limit of one. The area I hunt we,re over run with resident geese and shoot them pretty regularly while duck hunting and goose open. Had to just mess with them, callin them into goose decoys prior to season opening while waiting for an occasional duck to appear. Have got a few more ducks about this last duck split but very warm temps have hampered day time flights. Occasionaly tides, wind and weather line up to supply that adrenalin rush we still get up in the wee hours for!View attachment IMG_20200103_093143675_HDR.jpg

Here in Rhode Island the season started out great, then the ducks seemed to disappear. Pretty sure it's weather related. Some of the garlic I planted at the beginning of November has sprouted and is about 3 inches high. Not sure if I've ever had that happen to such an extent at this time of year before.
