Maybe this can alleviate some boredom. I work on my own engines my brother is a auto mechanic as well as my father so I?ve owned and been fixing junk my whole life. In my truck and boats I put tools. This is a kit I made for my 20 Hp Yamaha but am changing it for my mud motor. Basically whenever I have my engine apart or am doing some sort of maintenance I look at the tools I have out. I also think about the breakdowns I?ve had on boats over the years and try and help myself out with fixing those problems. This is my small tool box that I keep in the small sneakbox and I just leave it inside all the time. The leather man has wire cutters and a serrated blade for when a rope or old crab pot finds my prop. I also have tape fuses for lights a pull rope zip ties and tiny vice grips. Some things I want to add is a 12 gauge flare and if I get another outboard a fuel fitting. Anyone has suggestions I would like to hear them. Some things in here are strictly for that boat like a pin and prop nut for a trolling motor when I use that. My brother said ?tube fuses who uses them? my stupid spot light does I learned that in the dark. I also put in a micro stream flashlight.
