As you will see by my many listing to come, I have decided to get rid of things that I no longer use or need. I am downsizing to simplify my life. For sale is my snow goose rig that has seen no actin in the last 8 years and with less and less snow geese using the Vermont side of Champlain, i don't see myself using them any time soon. Here is what I have:
1dozen Herters or Cabellas full Body, fully flocked decoys. They started live with a rough finish of white and I decided to flock them some time ago and hunted them 1 time in the Addison vt refuge and they definately work
They come with feet, stakes and 2-6pocket bags.
1dozen each (never used, still in original packaging) snow goose and juvenile snow goose/blue goose sillosocks.
9 Flambeau convertible decoys with removeable keels so they can be used in fields or on the water. one is missing the front of his head...now he is a sleeper decoy
171 (over 14 dozen) corrugated plastic silhouettes. These are homemade and many still need to be Finished. By finished I mean the need either one or two coats of Paint and to have the stakes put into the bottom of the decoy. I have the paint and most of the material to finish the stakes. I made them from election signs that were left out AFTER the elections. I then cut the pattern, sanded them lightly with an orbital sander (that job sucks) and rolled on a flat white with a 4"roller. 2 coats make them look awesome. Then paint the eye, beak and shadow with dry brush and you are ready to hunt. I have three silhouette bags that come with.
1 new snow goose jack kite.
