Carl checked on one of my favorite ponds today around two pm. Two mergansers on the pond and it it 70 degrees out with a mild to almost non existent wind. Tomorrow is my last chance to hunt. Think I'm going to stay home and tie flies.
That cold front moved through here beginning on Wednesday night, all day Thursday, and on Friday it was just plain freezing around here. Good luck with your hunt, Carl. Stay safe and shoot straight. I'll look forward to see how you fared.
