When people ask me how much ammo I have on hand I just say, "enough to make the front page of the paper if my house ever catches on fire". That usually ends the questions.

fight for it now boys it only gets worse from here on out,,in cold country canada the gunlaws are so strict... they find one loose round in your truck they take everything as its improper storage and gives the right then to search your house etc...
now mind you this is third hand info ,story ,,,,
a fella here in ns was stopped for a road side check they have here abouts to catch drinking and driving,,,,,officer asks the normal questions and flashes the flashlight around there is a shotgun round in the side door pocket of the passengerside door... asks for licence registration goes back to the car ,,, comes back asks for firearms PAL or POL ,possession and aquistion ,,,then it starts is there any firearms on board sir, more officers arrive ,,, well you know where it goes from there all down hill,,,
the fella was out shooting skeet with some of the guys and somehow as the story goes one was left in the door pocket....
charged anyway ,,,,,,,guns seized at residense....

is it true i dont know but as the law is if it did happen you would be charged and guns seized...now im not sure if you get them back or not or what is involved after being charged....
fight for the right now guys....

If you think your boss might be one of those just say "one" , not untrue just incomplete info.;-). I happen to work with a very shooter friendly bunch but we are still careful about coffee breaks with those people

But the the elitist in Washington seem to think that minority rules and the anti's that line there campaign funds say "jump" and they reply how high. Just look at the travisty called Obama! But thats awhole other rant.
As for the Boss' question? Just say In the bunker, on me right now or barried in the backyard?

For the record... I am the least PC person in the office. LOL My boss is one of the most PC I have ever met. I live in London Ontario and my boss lives in Halifax Nova Scotia.
Last summer he was up this way and I took him trap shooting. We were at a meeting and he invited me out for dinner. I explained that it was "club night" and what that meant. I invited him to join me. It was his first time handling a firearm and it completely changed his perspective on things. He talked about it for weeks. I gave him the mandatory safety talk, provided him with safety equipment and took him out on the range with a great group of guys. He now understands it is safe, that all firearm owners are not nutbars and that it is a legitimate way to pass time. He also know better than to ask if I have a gun in the car today. Someone might not like the answer.
Our club also has a neighborhood appreciation day each year where we invite the neighbors out for a BBQ and under direct supervision allow them to experience all the different areas of the range. They can try everything from handguns and shotguns to high powered and black powder. They even get to try archery. Without exception they all leave with smiles on their faces. Every year the group gets a little bigger as they bring kids, parents, grandparents, friends and so on.
I think that the only way to win this battle is to expand the number of people who are on our side. We need to get the word out or in a few more generations we will be in a place like Australia.

i imagine we will see him at our clubs soon shooting sporting clays...tell him delta puts on a few shoots as well as DU every year...
as for those who carry guns onboard be very careful when pulled over and have all papers ready,,,no quick movements after you say yes sir i do have...
you are allowed to carry shotguns all year round so when im out kyote chasin im ready for a standoff if the police need a hand ssg has ways of changing outcomes,,,now if i could just get a semi auto[only] AA12 legal for canada....lol my stand off weapon of choice...lol,,,,,,
