This is the photo I'm going to use for our "guess the number of birds" contest for the banquet this weekend. I had to give up on Steve's due to siezures. Actually, that picture of Sutton's plus a couple of oxycontin were a good 3 hours of happy time.

I framed it and counted each bird as best I could, ticking them off with a marker on the glass. Some in the distance were a bit fuzzy, but I did my best I could. I can't tell you how many lest I compromise the contest to savvy internet scouters. So what species are in there?

and the rich cinammon color..

Dunlins....the middle sized ones with the black on their bellies....

Western Sandpipers....the smallest ones with the scalloped pattern on the back...

ANNNDDDDDDDD....

One Black Bellied Plover in the upper left hand corner....

Might be something else in there but thats what I'm seeing.....
