Sutton sent me a link a couple of years ago but I went with kayak handles at the time. I sent found some good ones at McMaster-Carr.

thats kinda what i'm lookin for - but was looking for ones i could bolt/screw into the hull of the layout --- i never thought of making them removable -- that could work

thanks

Seems like you could make something similar for a duck boat out of 12" of black or OD green webbing, and a rubber bicycle grip (f you need rigidity, sleeve it with aluminum tube)... A couple of nuts and bolts with fender washers later and you're in business.

I do have a couple that look "Similar" to the one that our resident "King of the Consumers" posted but that have a permenantly attached pad on each end....I'll dig them out this afternoon when I get some time and give you an mfg. on them......essentially they are a flat nylon core handle with a bonded rubber sleeve over the nylon core.....soft, flexible and way nicer than any metal handle, (albeit not as strong), that I have used.....
