I'm always looking for older cork decoys that are just waiting for another opportunity to fool some more fowl. I came across these Maine carved corkers with pine heads a couple weeks ago and finally got them home today. The gentleman carved these for his personal use and is now getting out of duck hunting. I'll be honored to add these to my spread this fall and for seasons to come. I was able to get 6 black duck and 6 white wing scoter and going to look at some all pine eiders in the very near future.

I'd say you are a pretty fortunate guy, Troy. Those are some dandy decoys and I'll bet if they could talk we would all be listening to some fantastic duck hunting stories. Have fun with them.

These particular cork decoys, posted above by Troy and made by me, have seen action in the waters of Nags Head to Kitty Hawk N. C., Hislerville, Barnnegat Bay, Great Bay and most back waters to Cape May. Waters on east side Lake Champlain, waters off the Kennebec River and Frenchman Bay Maine, plus secret places I may still, hopefully, hunt. Most of the cork decoys I have made were made from the mid 1960's to mid 1970's. With care cork decoys can last quiet a long time.
