john , had a 14 garvey many vears ago. i made a blind with electrical conduit and burlap. sat on 5 gal buckets. i took size of cockpit came in afoot each end for poles and divided half for middle one. the ht. of pole was determined by you on bucket. i would cut pipe to height then put a bend inward at about 12 in. off top of deck( to srink cockpit size) openning need to be about 24 in. poles are held with half u pipe hangers at deck and wood block at bottom(drilled to fit pipe) then cap pipe at top so no rips to coats then hang burlap over pipe.( i made burlap a ft bigger then cock pit and sewed bunge cord top and bottom to secure with). i just take burlap off at end of hunt and slide the pipes up out of holders and wrap up in burlap. i did both sides the same. hope this helps. blind was lite and for camo wired salt hay to burlap (put some seaweed sprinkled on it once at place iwas hunting) good luck rick
