Sources for Cedar or white pine carving wood

I'm looking to try out white cedar or white pine for head carving stock. Can anyone recommend a source that might ship to Texas?
Thanks!

you might also check sources in your area. You might find sugar pine, but likely, not white cedar. Check with places that do custom cabinetry. Dwane has good stuff, but your shipping costs may be prohibitive.

Jake, Why dont you Google Where to buy White cedar, There are various guys in N.J. That I bought from yrs ago, that sell a lot of it ,I Dont remember there Names.Check with or e/mail Tonie Hillman he is on this site a lot, He Buys as lot knowing he carves Full time. Shipping Is Costly though.

How much do you need? I have plenty of white cedar and I'd be willing to ship it to you no problem. Just depends on what you want. I don't have a ton of boards, but I have plenty of blocks, cutouts, and head stock. If you're interested in trying some or making a few decoys to begin with, let me know. - Derek (763)274-9700

You might be better off on the shipping cost to send someone your patterns and have them cut them out for you
