Speaking of rice

Who here has ever heard of or had popcorn rice? I'm sure there are probably other folk who sell it, but these guys do http://cajuncountryrice.com/rice-products/cajun-country-popcorn/ I saw it on a cooking show one night and was curious if it was any good or not. And if it really tastes like popcorn

hahahah If I could find a place around here that sells it, I would try it. But almost $20 for a pound of rice is just waaaaaaaay too much right now....damn shipping...

That's the only rice we eat! It is outstanding! Not sure where I got my last shipment but I try to order enough to cover a year or so that way the shipping price works out better. I use a Japanese high end rice cooker. The wife thought I was crazy at first but now requests it often! It has a very distinctive "popcorn" smell when cooking and maybe a nutty flavor when eating. I highly recommend it!!
