Seems to be the same here on the south shore of LI not much puddle duck action at all!

Hunted in the skim ice this morning on the coast before work. Could have shot hoodeds, but ultimately didn't fire the gun.

Good thing I'm off for a week and a half starting Friday [crazy]

Still on the spoonies the last few weeks. Most shovelers I've ever shot in a season. Had a group of 30+ come in one day, that was fun.

Also had a bonus banded black duck the other day, three year old locally banded bird.

Not as great of a season as last year, but those of us that are putting the time in are still being rewarded.
