Started putting new heads on my surds and black scoter... back in September... the Surfs are flocked...and need to flock the blacks... just in time for next season!!! Lol

The black flocking really adds a nice touch and realism. My son has some flocked mallards but they don't pop like your black scoters.

Phil what did you use to get the flocking to adhere? I used titebond 3 and walnut hulls on my homer geese and the stuff has been sloughing off in year two. Maybe I should have just painted the heads, which I will say take a beating (wife put some pellets right into them and only minor dents), instead of covering them. That being said I've been thinking of just flocking them.

I use rust-o-leum paint...
