Tall Grass Kennels in South Dakota. Their dogs are amazing. I have one. They specialize in British Labs. The gene pools are legendary. Equally as important, the people who run the kennel (the Clairs) are outstanding human beings. They routinely turn down people for their puppies if they feel that the dog is going to a home where the dog may not get the environment that it deserves. Check them out. I highly vouch for them. In 6 1/2 yrs, my dog has not needed a vet appointment for anything other than a wellness visit. QUALITY BREEDING.

If you are mostly looking for an upland type of Lab then you may want to check out High Caliber Labradors in Lennox SD. http://www.highcaliberlabradors.com/ They deal with pointing labs if that's OK. I have been around a couple of their dogs in non hunting situations and can say they are very trainable, athletic and friendly. The ones I have seen are on the smaller side.
