Stranded....and some Duck Jerky......

Hey Carl, do you prefer the dehydrator to a smoker for jerky? I've always just used my little chief electric smoker to make mine, but a dehydrator seems a lot more convenient. It takes me 12 hours to dry out my jerky, with 3-4 pans of chips to start.
 
Dont have a smoker, so cant say how that would work. But in the dehydrator, even the thick stuff I did yesterday was ready in 8 hours. Its real easy to use.
