Strange Idea for a hide

Been a member here for a bit, mostly just lurking. Getting a feel for the place. There are some really good water fowlers here. So....where I hunt a lot there is an issue with the hide. We have limited shore cover and it is an area with lots of leases and thus blinds. We have a heavy cover of lotus lily pads which are huge and easy to hide in. These are mostly in the middle of the pond. As you can imagine, after the first couple of heavy frosts and then below freezing temps, they thin out pretty well. This really limits the areas to hide in the sneak boxes and problems arise with some wind direction.
Now here's the idea. The place is over ridden with swans. So, the idea has been developed that we make over sized swan silhouettes which would be attached to the boats. A sheet would be used in the center to conceal both the boat and the gunner. Further, a bit of sheet would be used as a skirt along the side of the boat so the "swan" looks to be riding in the water.
Thoughts? Or is this just another ill conceived idea when the ducks aren't flying so good?

Are you saying cover the boat in a white sheet and attach a sillouette head to the boat? I think that could work especially if you cover yourself up and add a few swan decoys around the boats to help distract from the boat. Wear a white hat and cover the rest of your body with the sheet. Might not fool every bird but you might get some to take a look
