Suggested goose call?

Wanting to get a new one - currently use a 20$ RNT goosezilla or a 20$ Canada hammer. I'm no fancy pants goose caller extraordinaire, I know we have lots of guys on here that make calls etc.


I could always just replace the reeds, but wheres the fun in that?

If you want something new. Keep an eye on the sales rack for a Poly Eastern Shoreman, great calls

Good to know, I have never used the eastern shoreman, I do like sean manns lower end calls though.


It's true, the Canada hammer does seem to work remarkably well.

If you want to switch to change tone or find a new cluck, check out the sale rack at Dick's or FleetFarm and pick up a Zink Power Maximus. Similar to the SR-1 however it is a lower cost Poly call and now comes with similar clucker guts in them. I highly recommend the video/call combo package if they are on the shelf. Fred shows all the basics of running one of his short reeds and geese will hit the ground.
